Experienced tailor required to make up DKNY skirt suit in midweight fabric. Will require a new skirt pattern to be drawn up with a yoke, and main section of skirt cut in 4 panels on the bias, so that the skirt skims the hips and flares out gently at the knee (ie seams at centre front, centre back and sides; zipper to be placed at centre back seam). Jacket pattern likely to require some alteration to ensure good fit (length of body, length of sleeves, possibly widening across back shoulders and deepen underarms). Fabric, lining, buttons and zipper will be supplied; tailor to supply thread and other notions. Price should include at least one fitting. Fabric not yet purchased - pattern suggests boucle, lightweight tweed and wool crepe but will be considering other options which have requisite weight but with good drape to suit bias skirt; happy to accept suggestions on this point!
