We have a small cottage in Woonona (Wollongong) that we need old carpet pulled up in two areas and some plywood that has been screwed into underneath floorboards with 3 inch screws so tricky to get out with care. This and a small section of masonite does NOT need to be dumped - jsut lifted. Then we need the floor boards sanded and sealed. Small house so hoping want them light and not stained. Lounge - 470 x 540 cm (carpet)Dining room 475 x 290 cm(plywood) Also have two fireplaces so less those for actual floor space to be sanded. We may have left too late but are away from Sat 27th Jan for a 3 days so crucial to be done in this time as we have little ones and don't want them to be around dust etc. Previous quotes have indicated three days required so timeframe is crucial element of selection.
We have been told it is baltic pine boards. A couple of loose ones that may need to be re-fixed to beams. They look in pretty good nick from underneath. Thanks all - hope someone is available.
